Exercise / Hobbies

Wasn't sure to put this, so posted here.

What excercise / hobbies do you all particiatae in?

I got to the gym 3 times a week (1hr - 1hr half each time) and usually do a 15-20 mountain bike ride on the weekend.

When the weather permits it I like to go inline skating. No more trickstuff, though  (too many annoying adult and parent responibilities nowadays, so I can't really afford to break any bones)

Fortunately I live in a coasttown that is a holiday destination for many people, so there are plenty of beautiful roads and bicycle paths along the coast to skate.

For the rest I play some football every now and then (not the American type) with some long time friends. We play indoor in winter and outside in spring, summer and fall. We have pitches all over the place, like basketball pitches in the States (in other words: any open space will do  )

I go to the gym 5 days a week, about an 1hr - 1hr and a half weightlifting and then half an hour cardio. During soccer season I have practice twice a week and then two games on Saturday and/or Sunday.

I bike.
Everywhere.

I don't have a car so it's perfect. Riding in traffic is a little unnerving but I think where I'm at right now (Lincoln) they're getting more bike lanes, so yay! I occasionally like to go on bike trails but only by myself. I sometimes get annoyed with other people on the trail. Besides, downtown's more interesting!

My bike's a really cheap thing.. Schwinn, not sure what kind, just something I got from Walmart a couple years back for around a hundred bucks. But it's lasted me this long and is not to mention much healthier than rolling around in a car anyways!

Aha :p, don't blame you on that one. And not once you get used to it. Plus it seriously, seriously, works. Even if you don't do the diet thing they give you (I don't).

You've had good results without dieting? Wow, if I didn't diet at all, I wouldn't have any results. l: Can I see a pic or two of your before/afters or just after?

Re: Exercise / Hobbies

A good exercise to work out your entire torso is leg kicks where you torque your hips big, lol. :) You do rights and lefts, lol. :) It has been working for me really well, lol. :)

Re: Exercise / Hobbies

I'm currently taking classes in ballet, tap and yoga. My dance school had to cancel the adult street dance class because only two of us were attending, but when I can afford it, I'm going to take private lessons.

I also like swimming, but I haven't been for a while.
