Books You Never Finished?

Are there any books you started and just couldn't finish? I've only had two. Mutiny on the Bounty and Twilight.

Re: Books You Never Finished?

Too many to count, unfortunately.
I meant to finish them all, of course...
Yet time...
Just sort of...
Slipped out of my hands...
Now I don't remember a lot of their titles.

You should consider using something like goodreads.com. It's great for keeping track of what you've read, are reading and want to read.

Life and Death: Twilight reimagined. I could not even get past page 10 in the book. It was just so boring.

Dracula, because I lost it. I didn't buy or borrow another copy because the one I lost was my sister's and I didn't want to draw attention to the fact that I lost it. I still don't think she ever noticed.

I never finished Mockingjay. Don't really know why because I liked it, just stopped reading it and didn't pick it up again. Might have to give it another go.

Re: Books You Never Finished?

A Dance with Dragons is the first one that comes to mind. I managed to get through the first four books, but about 200 pages into this one, I couldn't handle the writing style any longer. I think it was in this one that I realized how much better the Game of Thrones show was than the books. Sounds like blasphemy, but I just couldn't stand those books any longer!

Hee hee hee. ADWD is a book that gets better the more times you read it. It doesn't make a great first impression. Or third.
