Plus it just doesn't seem like they click, or should click... Harry and Cho was a better choice :|

In books 1 and 2, Ginny was a pre-teen. She matured quite a bit during the remainder of the series and Harry was closely watching every step of the way. Harry's thoughts notice her in every single book. Harry really didn't begin to notice girls "that way" till Book 4 when Cho came along.
It was said that if you gave a million monkeys typewriters and let them type for eternity, eventually they would reproduce the works of Shakespeare. Thanks to the internet, we now know this isn't true.

I have the hots for Cho, but she wasn't ready for Harry and Harry wasn't ready for real love. Cho fascinated Harry and she was trying to rebound from her loss, but neither of them was ready for the real thing and it just fell apart. Any time Cho is ready, i am here.

Harry's attraction to Cho is first mentioned in the Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw chapter of PoA.

Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw

Never really interested in Quidditch scene unless it's related to the plot.

Um...it is relevant to the plot?

Harry casts his first Patronous during that one.

Sports? They fly on their brooms. It's not golf or cricket. It's magical sports.

Harry and Cho was a disaster. Besides Quidditch they had nothing in common.

Cho is the first girl Harry really "notices" and his fantasises over her for over a year, but the real thing wasn't what he expected, for obvious reasons.

Agreed. My favorite pairing as well :)
I support canon because I have actually read the books and seen what they feel and whom they love.
