Question re: Resurrection Stone

When Harry uses the resurrection stone to bring back his parents, Sirius and Remus...why does he drop the stone after saying "you'll stay with me? And he won't be able to see you?" Since we no longer see them after he drops the stone, is it to say that they're gone and Harry is facing Voldemort alone? And why does he drop it? I'm wondering if he's trying to hide/destroy the items that make up the deathly hallows...strangely, the invisibility cloak never makes an appearance in the DH movies.

Re: Question re: Resurrection Stone

Because the movies are stupid thats why.

I think its to stay with him in more of a figurative sense.

Re: Question re: Resurrection Stone

Accordin to book; only Harry sees them until the end. We don't see them until the end, because we do not need to. But, they were with Harry.
