How in this movie and in SS Hermione says "ouch Ron, you stepped on my foot"
Does this have any importance?

Yeah, Ron stepped on her foot. And that's her reaction.

Idk, I just found it odd it happens twice, and its a really random line to put in a movie I wasnt sure if there was an inside joke or anything to it

Re: Anyone notice...

That line always bothered me because it makes no sense. In the movie, Ron is walking behind her. It looks like it was a line that should have been dropped as they were filming the scene, after the blocking for that scene was set up, but for some reason it was kept in.

In PoA, when Hermione says "Ouch!... Ron, that was my foot," that was from the book, on pg 81 of Sorcerer's Stone. That line was kept in the film, even though, once again, it doesn't look like Ron is close enough to her to be anywhere near her foot.

It's intended to make us believe that they knew that Ron and Hermione would get together in the end as they were playing footsie's when they were younger :P

On a similar topic, is there any importance when Hermione tells Ron that he has dirt on his nose in the first one?
There's enough filth on my robes without you touching them.

No ... besides to convey the fact that Ron had dirt on his nose. I don't quite understand why there has to be a special meaning to these things.

Never noticed that, really. Maybe it was an extra scene they put in the movie, like they always do. Don't know.

No, it is in the books as well. And I think in the books Rons mother tries to get the dirt off of Rons nose.

Any connection with Padfoot? Nahh! Maybe this is just to emphasize Ron's clumsiness.
