The movies were never that important to me. They just don't have the same magic to me as the books do. And, the characters don't look the way I imagined them in my head when I first read the books, so... It doesn't really matter. Daniel is ok, but he's not the perfect Harry,IMO.

I really can't imagine any other person playing Harry. DRad is perfect. Especially in the first movie, such a wittle cutie.

Well i liked him as a actor. I mean the Brown hair and blue eyes made it hard. Byt Dan was allergic to the conacts for him to have green eyes. I can't think f anyone good enough besides dan to play him

Of course he is. He is the only one in my memory. He is my childhood spiritual father.

I like Dan. Some things I imagined Harry saying differently, but Dan did the movies well, anyways.

I think Radcliff did a fantastic job, and he really did look the part.
People tend to nitpick a little too much when they get attached to a book that is made into a movie. You have to realize it is nearly impossible to not only find *good* actors who match the character description, fit as much of the book into the movie as possible, and please both the author and the fans (not to mention the studio)...but it IS impossible to make everything exactly how the fans see it, because different people see things differently.

I think you meant Daniel Radcliffe? Daniel Craig is the current James Bond... And I don't think he would make a very good Harry... :S

His portrayal as Harry in the fifth movie was the best. And he was really adorable when he was young. Then of course, like many others, I dismayed when he apparently would never grow into Harry's lanky, slender build. But it would be so very unfair to condemn his talents and contribution to the movies wouldn't it? He did a great job on the whole, and his face would always be a part of my childhood memory, no matter how I pictured Harry on my own ^^

Definately daniel radcliffe is the perfect actor for harry potter role.He is handsome, shows feelings, he is not emotionless ,he understood harry potter character very well.Especially in fifth movie he did a great job in the ending scene where he potrayed true emotions to sirius death and wanted to kill bellatrix but could not kill her which broke my heart and i was crying through the whole scene. :(

I think that Colin Morgan would have been a good actor to play Harry. I'm not sure if he's the right age but if he is then Colin would be perfect (with green eyes of course-that is what I really didn't like about the HP movies-Harry did not have green eyes).

I think they could have easily found a better actor to play Harry, Daniel Radcliffe was terrible, especially in the first film when he walked into a bank full of goblins (which he had never seen before) and didn't bat an eyelid like come on it's not hard to fake shock

I have to agree. Radcliffe is terrible at showing emotions as Harry and revealing his inner conflict although I don't think the other two actors in the trio are much better.
