Snape's is far more dignified and professional looking. It is elegant and intricate, but it also has an underlying simplicity to it. It by far looks the best of the available wands.

Voldemort's is, to me, a bit lackluster. I was never a fan of the wand designs of the 3rd film on. Snape's wand is the only one available from the first two films. Voldemort's wand doesnt appear to be anyting that Ollivander would be remotely interested in making. It fits the character but not the wandmaker.

That's a good point, which I have noticed.

Prehaps Olivander likes to make the odd fancy wand once in a while.

How does the wand feel? I wanted to buy Snape's, but the whole resin thing puts me off.

Edit: I've often wondered what bone is used for the handle. It appears to be part of the humerus, but also like a somewhat large bit of the radius. Of course, the whole "spike" thing on it is completely fictional.

It's not really about weather you like Snape or Lord Voldemort. It's about which wand looks better or is better.

Well they're both made of resin and don't cast spells. So they're the same in that respect. I'd say it depends on 3 things: which character you feel you identify with the most, which wand looks the best, and which one FEELS the best. Because you're not going to want to use an uncomfortable wand. I think the handle on Voldemort's would bother my hand, personally. But I have big hands.

Snape's is the closest to what I envisioned the wands to look like, honestly. Hermione's from the first two films was also AWESOME. I wish they'd replicate that one.
