Our community has been prospering recently. We have many new and contributing members. I am very happy with our growth and thank all of you for your contributions to our community. I would like you all to help us try to meet some community goals over the next couple of months.

Our Community Goals (to be completed by August 31, 2006)

10000 posts
500 members
20 members per house

I feel that we can accomplish all of these goals. At our current rates, we would be able to reach 10000 posts and 500 members by the end of August. The 20 members per house depends more on how many new members have interest in joining a house, and if they spread themselves out more evenly among the houses.

What will it take?

Approximately 58 new posts per day to reach 10000
Approximately 2.5 new members per day to reach 500
Approximately 1 new house member per day to reach 20 per house

We can do this! Post more often, visit more often, tell your friends. Let's grow our community! Let's accomplish these goals!

I just wish more people would join Hufflepuff, it's just me and pockets.
I think we'll achieve those goals. I'll be still around (completing a year at the forums!) so I'll post as much as I can.

It looks like we aren't going to meet our overall member and house member goals. But, we still have a chance to reach 10,000 posts. In order to do this, we need to average 82 posts per day for the rest of the month. Let's do it! POST! POST! POST!

Hufflepuff has only a few members but those few are active members.

There will always be active members in the general parts of the forum, but considering we are a smaller site, it can be difficult to maintain interesting discussions when you divide the members into fourths. Confused
