Not too sure if there's a topic on this, but...
You know how Neville finds the Room of Requirement ...
...how did he find it? Why was he in real need of it? It's not as if he was being chased by Crabbe and Goyle and needed somewhere to hide. _________________

it's very poorly explained, but he had to have been thinking about the need of the DA when he walked by it. it certainly makes the room seem less magical to me. it seems like he just found a hidden door _________________ how tough am i? well, i'll have you know i stubbed my toe last week (while watering my spice garden), and i only cried for 20 minutes!

I just assumed that he was looking for a place to hide from them... true they weren't chasing him, but they were teasing him. I got the impression that Neville wanted a place to go, just to be away from people teasing him or something. _________________
