Hey guys! Dint u ever think that maybe harry turns evil in the next book..
He might be the heir of Voldemort.. and the book continues 2 a new generation.. Like in Star Wars.. Anakin turns evil and luke fights for justice..
Harry potter was such a big hit maybe they'll want 2 continue it some more and and make Harry turn evil.. Reply with your opinions on this!!
Um...that would ruin the book. That would stretch the series and it would look like J.K.R was copying Star Wars, and the new Star Wars wasn't as good as the original. It's best if J.K.R finishes off the book. And Harry might end up dying. And finally, Harry can't turn evil. He is so pure-hearted and full of love, as Voldemort found out(to his discomfort) in book 5,that he can't possess Harry without feeling intense pain. Harry's secret weapon, "the power the Dark Lord knows not" is love. The love he feels for the those he cares about is so pure a force that it can overwhelm and destroy Voldemort. The locked room in the Department of Mysteries, which contained a mysterious force that melted Harry's blade contains love. That is how Harry will defeat Voldemort. He feels love for his friends, the people he knows and he will not allow Voldemort to destroy them. The love he feels gives him strength. Maybe there is a spell that channels Harry's love into a powerful energy that destroys Voldemort. Remember Lily's love that creatd a protection so powerful that even Voldemort could not touch him while Harry was at the Dursleys' until he was 17. The most powerful Dark wizard, could not attack a teenager who resides in a Muggle house. As Dumbledore says, Harry has never beens sedeuced to the Dark side.
And I'll tell you the difference between Anakin and Harry. Anakin was unusually talented, and that gave him certain arrogance. He believed Obi-Wan was holding him back form his full potential. He turns to a better mentor - unfortunately this happened to be Chancellor Palpatine. He corrupts the young Jedi's mind. Like Harry, Anakin was powerful. But unlike Harry, he chose the wrong guide. Like Harry, Anakin lost his mother. But Anakin' s mother was killed by a tribe, and he slaughters the entire tribe, including innocent women and children. Harry is not just seeking Voldmeort for revenge, but to destroy the man who cause so much suffering to so many. He has seen much of Voldemort's villainy. He has seen his loved ones and friends(Parents, Sirius, Dumbledore) die because of Voldemort. He despises evil, and he is determined that Voldemort will never cause the pain he had to endure to anybody else. He is a true hero, just, brave and pure-hearted.
Last of all, J.K.R is determined to finish the series. She said she might kill Harry so there cannot be anymore sequels. She had already planned seven books and has said that she wants to write other books. _________________ Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus
Cool!! Hey siddhu... U know alot about Harry Potter.. I forget most of the story a few weeks after i read the book.. Does this happen to any of you guys too? Anyway Siddhu, your point is valid.. And it would just spoil the story if he turned evil!! Anyway too many people are using the "Father turns evil, Son defeats him" theory so it would just be cheap.. I totally agree with Siddhu, Harry is good-hearted and his love is so pure that he couldn't possibly turn evil. He has no reason to become a baddie. He never was power-hungry, he cares for his friends and also for others who aren't his friends (Gabrielle in the lake).
Voldemort would have never rescued Gabrielle, he would only have thought of winning like most Slytherins would have (not that it's bad, it's just a different way of thinking) but Harry is a Gryffindor at heart and he will not turn evil. And JKR really said that she doesn't want to continue writing Harry Potter after the seventh book, so she won't copy Star Wars. _________________ His eyes are as green as a fresh pickled toad,
