There was a an Ernie McMillan cast in CoS and GoF. He was played by Louis Doyle. So far it has not been confirmed that he will be returning for the sixth film.

he doesnt have a major role in the 6th does he?

Nope, not at all. His big part is in CoS when Harry overhears him talking about Justin. And again in GoF when the Hufflepuffs ignore Harry because of the tournament.
