Just a few things that could have made Harry's life a little easier,

For instance, the many hogwarts letters that told him of his acceptance, they were nearly all hidden and he had to go creeping around to get the letters, etc, what if they had just sent a Howler? Would that not make it easier for him to hear?

When he had to chase Malfoy for Neville's remembrall, what if he could have learnt a summoning charm then? Though that would have cost him his chance on the team.

What if they had learnt about Pettigrew being an animagus? THey could have had him caught much earlier and Sirius would be free, and wouldn't eventually be killed by Bellatrix at the Ministry after hiding for so long.

Those are just a few things I've noticed.

Yeah, there are a lot of things that could have made his life easier, like a cell phone lol.

I mean many times I have thought he could have made better choices but that is life.

I mean the author has to make it interesting for us to read no? Also, in life we make many bad decisions. When we look back at our life don't we always think of better ways in which we could have acted?

I know what you're saying. Poor Harry was left in the dark for so long. Had he known certain things, then his life possibly would have gone more smoothly. But since I'm bored and have nothing better to do...

I wonder why they didn't send a Howler. But they did send Hagrid. But it's not as if the letter thing went on for too long, omly a week or so, if that long.

Yeah, if he had summoned the ball, then he wouldn't have been seen flying and ctaching a tiny ball by McGonagall. Not that it's his fault. The Summoning Charm isn't taught until 4th year and even Hermione didn't know it first year.

It wouldn't have matter if they knew. Lupin knew and he didn't think it had anything to do with it. He thought Peter was dead. Even if the Ministry or even DD, knew that he was an animagus, then they still might have thought he'd been kiled by Sirius.

I'm not trying to argue, I'm just really that bored and needed something to do. Smile

No worries, however, I kind of typed that wrong, I meant to say, what if they knew Peter Pettigrew was Ron's rat all along?

OHHHHH. Yeah, got nothing for that.... that would have been huge. Like if Ron kew his pet was an animagus... Not so sure he'd let his rat sleep on his bed with him if he knew, though. lol

I know J.K. Rowling says her characters aren't based on real people, but with the whole Peter lying in Ron's bed when he's 13, makes me think Michael Jackson made a surprise cameo somewhere during development...
