Anyone hear the lastest news?

There's like pictures of Emma drinking beer I guess and the media is making a big deal about it, thing is Europe has a very low drinking age or one at all.....Is there any news of this in the UK?

The legal age to drink alcohol in the UK is 18. I havnt seen anything about this in our newspapers.

Could it be possible that she is growing up? And the drinking laws are different. It is legal to drink alcohol in your home at the age of 6. It is illegal to buy alcohol before the age of 18 and drink it publicly in bars and clubs etc.

That may be true, and I myself dont really care, She should just be more careful about with all these younger kids looking up to her.

I dont know about other countrys but in new zealand you can drink at any age as long as ur with a parent so maybe her parents were there

Here’s the latest by the way:

British actress Emma Watson had a humongous sweet 16 birthday party in Oxford over the weekend with more than 150 friends.

The world has watched Watson grow up in the magical world of 'Harry Potter' movies as the brainy Hermione Granger, and now the rising young starlet is growing into the age of debaucherous celebrity teenagers.

Guests of Watson, which included her 'Harry Potter' costar Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), were reportedly able to enjoy a night of chugging beer or, for the lesser lushes, indulging a variety of virgin cocktails such as Hermione Hangovers and Wicked Watsons.

The birthday girl seemed to prefer the barley-based beverage, Steinlager reportedly being her beer of choice.

Live bands and DJs kept the crowd grooving 'til well after midnight. A witness to the evening's festivities told the UK's Sun that Watson "kicked off her shoes when The Prodigy came on and was all over her boyfriend at the end of the night."
