Does anyone have any hopes/expectations for what the OOTP movie should be like?
I do. I didn't like the GOF movie. It was really rushed and they didn't include any of the plotlines other than the main one (no house elves, for example) yet they managed to find time to show off their special effects by having the Horntail chase Harry all over Hogwarts.
I hope the OOTP movie will make more time for emotion and for giving depth to the characters and less time for special effects. As there are less opportunites for action-packed stuff in the book, I think this may be realistic. I think OOTP has a lot of emotional change for Harry, and also introduces quite a few new characters- Tonks is one of my favourites, so I don't want to see just a flash of pink hair and a few words and that's it. |

| Well, since this is were Sirius dies, I am in hopes for some good Sirius/Harry scenes. I am looking forward to the battle scene and when Dumbledore tells Harry about the prophecy. Lupin is always a plus and I wouldn't mind seeing Lockhart again. |
