Are you kidding?
Definitely too big , yes.
I believe the limit is 600 x 200.

Yes, the sig is too big. Actually, it's not even close. The limits are 600 pixels wide total, and 200 pixels tall total. These numbers are the total heights and widths of all your sig images.

Paint could work. Try it.
I'm lazy and usually just shrink pictures a bit in photobucket or imageshack.
