In the end of OoTF Dumbledore tell's Harry that he put a spell on him that make's it so that as long as he is near his mother's blood he can't be harmed. But harry has his mothers blood so
1) He shouldnt be able to be hurt at because he has his mothers blood
2) Voldamort has harrys blood so Harry should'nt be able to be hurt near Voldamort _________________

But now that Voldemort has Harry's blood, they're on level playing field. It sort of negates the Charm Harry's mother inadvertantly left behind. _________________
