Yes.I am also re-reading the books. It's nice to recall things of the past before the newest book comes out.I am also looking for some hints of what might happen based from older books.

if they do I won't read them. Nobody could give it the same spirit and brilliance as JK, because it is her creation and her passion. She should copy right all the names and stuff she's created so nobody else can try to pick up where she left off.

I still need to reread the sixth book. I would reread the whole series, but I loaned my first book to a friend and rereading the whole series without reading the first book first seems wrong to me. I've already reread random chapters in the fourth and fifth book for my fanfiction.

I always reread the books before the realese of a new one. I am currently reading GoF. I read PS, CoS and PoA over the weekend. It's easy to forget things that happen in the books.

what i am doing is usuing sticky tabs and i tab chapters, things i like and things i hate and they are color coded, so almost all of my books have tabs sticking everywhere!! and everytime a new book or movie come out, i always reread the series. i can finish the whole series in about two weeks. how about you?

Yeah I have got it all planned out. I go watch the movie the day after tommorrow(I have already watched 1-4) and then I start reading the books (cause the books are different from the movies) by the twenty-first I would have worked myself into a Potter frenzy for the last final book ( the tragedy Twisted Evil )

definately.
first, i watch all the movies.
then, i read all the books.
then, i read the newest book or watch the latest movie.
of course, with the OOTP movie and the DH book so close together,
i only had to do my countdown ritual once.

When i read the 4th book..i read all the 1 2 3 ones before i took on the 4th book. So i d know exactly what the context would b about.
