i dont remember where i saw it, maybe in the leaky cauldron or somewhere, but jk said that there was something in the poa movie that suggested something in the seventh book, meaning to say there are clues in the third movie regarding the 7th book. do you know what they might be? here are my guesses:

1. the way lupin talked about lily, about her ability to see the worth of others, particularly when they did not see it in themselves
2. the way snape protected harry, ron, and hermy when lupin transformed

i think he did like Lily... because she was there for him when he was a werewolf ....

but i would like to see it be Severus as he seemed to be a bit of a loner... maybe Lily seen snapes caring and kind side

I think it's about Lupin more than Snape !
I rewatched the movie today and I dont know, maybe you're right and it's really about Snape and that he have good in him more than he thinks..

there's another thing that i thought of though. people remarked about how snape was protecting the three when lupin turned into a werewolf. well, what if the last scene will be like that? snape dies for harry, leaves harry with a protection, voldie kills harry, poof, wand backfires, voldie dead, harry alive.. and they all live happliy ever after! Very Happy

It's probably something really tiny, that we all probably glossed right over. Like when Harry is on the Knight Bus and the Shrunken Head babbles something about stabbing muggles with a fork and they feel it. Then in GoF Hagrid stabs Flitwick with a fork. Flitwick, of course, isn't a muggle, so it was fitting that although it annoyed him, after Hagrid removed the fork, Flitiwck rubs his hand as if he just needs to shake it off. Meanwhile if it happened to us, we'd be getting stitches. My point is, it's probably something that seems so insignificant, that we would never give it a second thought. As opposed to Lupin's comment about Lily.

yeah i think this too..

1. lupin, snape liked her, but she never saw them i think, first because she secretely liked james. lupin never tried. he and james were friends and he was a werewolf, just see what he did to tonks. snape might have been her friend at some point. they are both good at potions.

2. i loved that scene

poor lily, she's turning into a mary sue :'|

I think you are right on those two points.

Ok, I found the quote

"Alfonso [Cuaron] had very good intuition about what would and wouldn't work. He's put things in the film that, without knowing it, foreshadow things that are going to happen in the final two books. So, I really got goosebumps when I saw a couple of those things and I thought people are going to look back on the film and think those were put in deliberately as clues."

Now I'm going to need some time to think about this...

First off, I'm going to have to go with the R/Hr pairing earlier in the series than JKR had intended.

Then I'm going to guess the part where Snape protects the trio while Lupin turns into a wolf... it seemed a bit out of place, but not necassarily out of character (depending on your stance on the theory of Friend or Foe). And it was definiely not from the PoA book.

I am definitely going with this one though... the part where they are running from Lupin. In the book they don't really run from him, they just run into Hagrid's Hut. So maybe in DH they run from Lupin or any werewolf.

No what I mean is...

In the movie Hermione howls to him to distract him. Harry tells her that he coming, they run into the woods and a great chase followed by a game of hide and sneak ensues.

In the book PoA pages 408 to 409 of the US ed
Lupin transforms, Harry reminds Hermione that Lupin will be coming this way. Hermione and Harry, along with Buckbeak sneak into Hagrid's Hut. All before Lupin even notices them. They don't run from him.

What? No! Smile I think either he'll forget to take his Wolfbane potion OR Greyback will go after them.
