I think they did a good job casting. I think actress who plays luna, is cute.

Yes!! From what I've seen so far she looks good!! Lets just hope she can act the part because Luna is a very unusual character...

i wish she can pull it off... i imagined a mini trelawney with her spectrespecs. actually, you know that girl in addams family reunion? the one whom pugsley likes? thats how i imagined luna, but with dirty blond hair.

she's so cute. plus she only 14.. oh and i was watchin a luna interview... the way she speaks and moves is the way i imagined luna to be... somewhat always in a daze.. and soft spoken... cant wait for ootp!

She is cute but that is were i think they went wrong.
I think they make her look way to normal from what i pictured her in the book.

I heard someone who is involved with the movie say that she is the best young actor in the entire movie, and they meant above Dan, Rupert, and Emma.

I mean, they couldn't say best tho, I mean Gary Oldman is in this movie, lol. Not too many in the industry better than him.

well michael gambon is good... but the better dumbledore is richard harris. or is it the director's probalem for telling gambon to act like an angry dumbledore?

I think when Michael Gamdon does the humor, he is even better than Richard Harris, the only problem is, he had very few scenes in PoA and was too loud in GoF.

The thing in OOTP is that dumbledore doesn't even talk to harry the entire year except right before X-mas break and at the end of the year, cuz he's avoiding him, so who knows how it will come off this time but I'm sure the movie will be fantastic overall.

Anyway, we are off topic.

I don't think Luna looks too normal, I mean what do you want her to look like? She is never mentioned as being abnormal looking, besides same of the stuff she wears (and she made the earrings she wears in the movie herself by the way)

She is just abnormal in the mind, not really her physical features.

and the way she dresses. from what I've seen, they've done a good job on her eccentric wardrobe. and her hair is really really long...abnormally long.

I think she looks too cute to be Luna. But I guess we'll have to wait to see how she acts it.

she looks almost like i imagined. she has that real dreamy, ditzy look on too, just like the actual looney lovegood. nice eyes tho.

i think they did a pretty bad job of casting her. she doesn't look dreamy.

apparently dreamy is relative then. I think she does look dreamy. and luna could very well be cute...maybe in her first year some boys tried to corner her under the mistletoe and she happily informed them of nargles and then they told all the other boys to stay away because she's "loony". Anyway, I think she looks the part.
