| Do you think that it will be able to last, even though Lucius is in jail. I am kind of iffy about this one. I think Narcissa still loves Lucius, but she may need to move on to another man. |

| My thoughts on this relationship as I read the books was that there marriage was more of an arrangement. That there two families had them married for ties and it wasnt out of love. Kind of like how kings would marry there daughters off to make allies. So Lucius being in jail was more of a shameful smudge on the family. I think that Narcissia is angry at the people who caught and made a mockery out of her family more than care that he is in jail. Also, she is probably more worried about the survival of Draco. But I dont know, maybe there really was some true love between Lucius and Narcissia. |

Well, you do make a good point. But when Harry insulted Lucius in Madam Malkins, she seemed really mad.
But, yes, it seems that the two pureblood families were just shoved together. |

and when bellatrix criticized him too...she said something like "how dare you!" could just be her pride though. Even if it was arranged, they could have really loved each other, or learned to.
