Okay I am sure that many of you saw the pile of garbage that made PoA look accurate. Yes I am talking about the movie Eragon. Halfblood Princess if I offend you because you liked th movie dont take it into your heart. Murtagh actually looked like he was Murtagh.
Anyways, I was woundering if the people who produced Eragon would be able to make Eldest and whatever the last book name is. I dont think they could unless they wanted to make something even more unaccurate. Look at the elves for example, since when were they american indians. When they get to Du Weldenvarden its not going to be a forest of trees, they are going to make it into a forest of teepee's. Or Eragon wont even go to Du Weldenvarden and they will make Oromis a creepy old guy in Sudra, oh and by the way, I bet it wont be Sudra anymore it will the Hardac desert or something. Then again they can by pass the whole Oromis teaching Eragon and say, "Nah, Eragon is strong enough to take on the empire himself." So then they will send him to the newly named Sudra and have him some how use his angst to become a total badass and kick Murtaghs butt. Then again they could not make it Murtagh and they just kill him off at teh beginning and make it some type of Shade that Eragon fights.
Yea this is how I feel about the movie... It was so horrible, not only that but my god Eragon did all his emotions with just his eyes and nothing else of his face. Really look back if you can and youll see it, his bottom features never move. Also did anyone get the feeling that Arya was betrayed as a total whore/giddy girl. Look at her when she is captured then at the end when Eragon defeats the Shade. Oh yea... and why were there a lot of Elves at the end... Ok I better stop or this could turn into a badly written essay on the screw ups on Eragon...
So what I want to you to do. Talk about how unaccurate the movie was, and what you COULD find that was accurate. If they will be able to make a accurate sequel, if not tell me what you will think they will do in Eldest. Have fun kiddies! _________________ Do it the Potter Style!
I was actually giggling when I read this Pottersyle. I wouldnt be surpised if the stuff you predicted in Eldest would come true... I can see Eragon by passing his training completely... I tell you one thing though... I WONT BE WATCHING IT!!! I would be so ticked I'd like want to go and hunt down the director and chop off his head.
One of things I had problems with was the look of Saphira. SINCE WHEN DID SHE HAVE FEATHERS!!! She's not part bird you idiot. Since when did dragons have feathers in the first place? Has he not read any classic myths from the medevil times?? HONESTLY!!! The book even described her to have leathery wings several times. Wait wait wait, I bet the ppl who produced this pile of crap didnt even READ the BOOK. The probably got a synopis of the net and decided to try and make a movie on just that information.
I am not appart of any Eragon forums, but after this topic I think I will go and find a forum so I can see if there are any rumors of there being a second movie.
And about the actor for Eragon... yea he did his emotions with his eyes and it was horrible. I know people who could do better acting and we're in highschool drama!!!
its okay. i was disappointed with the movie as well. i only liked murtagh, brom, and galby. gosh! a dragon with feathers. can you imagine that? apparently, fangmeier can.
and i was looking for more "adventures with brom and murtagh scenes." but instead i get crappy rural scenes. i mean, the meat of the story is about the adventures! why is it that half the movie is set on carvahall? _________________
