Yeah I don't believe this is true... They might start soon but the 5th movie isn't even out yet.

You are right, they might start soon and the 5th movie isn't even out yet. The 5th movie comes out next month.

Producers of the next Harry Potter film are going to hold two open auditions.


They're looking for a teenage boy and girl to play the parts of Lavender Brown and Tom Riddle in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

The auditions'll be at Earl's Court in London on the 1st and 8th of July.

And Yates? He's having the time of his life directing Harry Potter films. Taking the baton from Chris Columbus, Mike Newell and Alfonso Cuaron, he finished Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, to be released on 13 July, just five weeks ago and is already in pre-production on its follow-up, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. He seems genuinely to have no idea if he will direct the final film; not surprising given that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows isn't published until next month.

you guys realize that it basically takes 1 1/2-3 years to fully produce a movie? usually as soon as one movie comes out, shooting for the next film has usually begun. like pirates of the carribean, they shot movies 2 and 3 at the same time basically.

they usually give the actors a 3 month break after the movie comes out before they start filming again.
