I just thought I had to read it again, I couldn't believe it, I loved every minuit of it. I couldn't stop thinking of the characters for weeks. I loved just trying to work out what was going to happen, luckily as it turns out Camber was already out and there was only a couple of weeks until Prisoner would be out. I thought i was going to die waiting for OoP.

I haven't re-read any of them in awhile, been to busy, although I would like to look for clues.

I've seen the 4 movies so many times and I had never read any of the books. I finally purchased the 5 book set this christmas for one of my kids and started to read them.

I noticed that the movie very closely resembled this book, with only a few differences that didn't matter much, when compared to the other movies/books.

I'm glad they didn't falter too much, I hate when movies made from books go too far from the actual book, and are sometimes not as good.

This was an exception.

After reading book one I was absolutey thrilled! I loved every minute of it and I couldn't wait until book 2 came out. It was a different experience for me and a great one at that...I felt so excited because I ahd entered a whole new world full of magic, mystery, adventure and more!

I was really stunned. It was a great read and I felt the surge to read it again straight away ... I didn't. Because I thought reading it straight away again would somehow destroy the wonderful feeling inside my heart :P No honestly, I thought it would. It would have taken all the dazzle away so I waited a couple of months before re-reading it.
But it was honestly one of the best books I had read back then. Simply terrific.

It was really weird to have finally finished it, I had been so into the plot and the characters that at the end when I came out of all of it I couldn't stop thinking about it and I just wanted to read it again which I did a couple of days after finishing it.

After re-reading it about five times I still enjoy it.

On my first time, I though, "Wow". J.K. Rowling is amazing! I can't wait for the next book!!!

Well the first time I read it (well I actually read about 5 pages...) I was bored... (and just six years old...). Two years later I read PoA... and liked it... next I read CoS... and then PS... and I liked it very much...

I guess I was just to young the first time...

Well you've got to admit that for the first Harry Potter book Philosophers Stone is an amazing story. Just reading it was breath-taking! I'm sure anyone who reads this book will be amazed and won't be able to put the book down. Once I finished it I was dying to read the next book. JK Rowling certainly has talent and a wonderful imagination!

I read the book in less than a day (like all the books) and re-read once again and many more times after that.

I started reading the book (1), when CoS already came out. JKR popped the first two out, one right after the other.
