hello
i just joined this site for advice on a project of mine making a Quidditch game based off a game called Blood Bowl.
I have plans for 4 teams based off the hogwarts houses and need some help and advice
Slytherin- This one was pretty easy, their players are not as good as the other houses but make up for it with lots of sneaky tricks and are the best at playing dirty.
Hufflepuff- This one is also pretty much done, they have the best players but don't use tricks and other questionable acts due to their belief in fairness.
Ravenclaw- Not sure about this one, since most of the house members are descibed as being attractive, i thought of them as pretty boys and prima donnas. They are good at speed playing but are weak in the physical aspect of the game (they won't want to get dirty or ruin their uniforms!).
Gryffondor- Another team im not sure about. So far i am thinking of them as being well rounders, sort of jacks of all trades but masters of none. |

here is the site for blood bowl...
http://www.specialist-games.com/bloodbowl/default.asp
you can download the rulebook for free and you can easily make all the stuff you need to play the game for a fraction of the cost (and it will look better)
for the quidditch game im just going to use cardboard cutouts for the players although someday i may make figurines.
for the most part the game is the same and i have most of the game mechanics done. the only thing is that there won't be elevation in the game as that would be a nightmare to try to replicate. players are either in the air on knocked to the ground. |
