i think Warnerbrothers have out done themselves again...Evanna Lynch will be playing Luna Lovegood in the 5th and possibly 6th movie, and shes absolutley perfect!!!!!
Evanna is exactly how i imagined Luna to be!
good job Evanna and you have my support.

Nope. Not exactly how I imagined her, but she's pretty good. Her voice was kind of disturbing in that video, though. I was like; Wtf?

but it does have that soft, out there luna feel doesn't it?
luna's voice (i guess) is supposed to be soft and strange cuz her personality is like that right.

its close, but not quite luna..As for the voice, it sounds overdone kinda.Like its a little bit over, too squeaky to go with the spaced out voice

Luna is described as being "dreamy" and other worldly, and I think that Evanna has that *odd* quality about her.
Evanna seems a natural for the part, it's almost like she's just being herself, and she's nailed the role perfectly. Well done Evanna!! |

J.K. Rowling has said that Luna is like an "anti-Hermione," as Luna believes things on faith alone and Hermione grounds her beliefs on facts and logic. Hermione repeatedly tries to convince Luna that her beliefs are nonsense, to no avail. Hermione sees Luna as very gullible and Luna sees Hermione as very narrow-minded. By the end of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Hermione seems to have realised that Luna will not falter in her beliefs. Despite Luna's dottiness, she can be very perceptive about human nature, and Harry often notes her knack for blunt honesty.

I think Evanna is too pretty! Luna is supposed to have long dirty blonde wavy, wild hair and bulging blue eyes. Evanna has sleek, blonde hair, and she has blue eyes, but they're pretty. But I think she'll do a good job as Luna. I guess we'll just have to wait until July!

The thing with luna is...she's a very smart individual. She has some crazy views, but think about it.Her views are set in stone- she always sticks to her gut! It takes someone very smart to believe something, and stick to it, when everyone around is making fun of your beliefs.

She makes Harry laugh at Slughorns party. Theres a different relaxed, comfortable vibe between Harry/Luna, I hope it means, what I think it does...

but seriously...harry says he's gained a "certain fondness" for luna, which , i hate to break it to you, doesn't cause burning passion. I get a more sister/brother vibe from them.
