I remember reading somewhere on the forum that Ginny and Harry did not name any of their kids Fred. No one appeared to have actually. Last night though, I found in Wikipedia, that George named his son Fred! That was so sweet! I think that was most suitable. Now George is reunited with Fred... And I think Fred would definitely look like Fred! Just thought you might want to know... in case no one has mentioned this yet

Well, eh, sorry, this was mentioned before, but anyhow, it is very touching. Obviously JKR doesn't want George to suffer his whole life in agony; that would've been cruel.

I should've guessed...
But I was so excited last night when I read about it.

Oh well....

Anyway, I think it's really nice that it would be George's child. Definitely better than Harry's, don't you think?

I think all those who die had their names named on children in the series, right? Wonder if anyone called their children

I actually have a question about that...if JKR hasn't said anything about it, then how can any of these characters on Wikipedia exsist?

I mean i'm all for George haveing a son named "Fred" but where did the names come from???

it is on wikipedia, but I don't ever remember hearing Rowling say "George had a kid"

I'm just wondering where the people on wikipedia got the info.

I'm guessing that WINKY would be pretty devastated by the death of Dobby, and, if she ever finds a mate, her son would be named Dobby (SQEEE!)
Dunno about Mad-Eye but if Harry got a new owl he would most likely get a female and name it Hedwig.

I believe JKR stated this in an interview somewhere. Also, I think Harry would force Albus to name his owl Hedwig, just like he forced his name to be Albus Severus. Yes, Harry is a very caring father.

Last Monday I think it was, JKR said on an online chat interview that George married and named his first son Fred.

A lot of people assumed that Ron would name his kid Fred. But he has 4 older silings who might have gotten married and had kids before him.

Harry Honored his son by nameing him after two headmasters at Hogwarts, and if you read why he did it, he didn't force his son to have horrible names, he did it to honor their memories, Albus should be happy to be named after such great wizards.

But she said she isn't going to write any more books, except for the Potterpedia. So really she is just setting herself up for us to be tortured as we sit here wondering whatever is to become of Rose and Lily. And what if Hugh is sorted into Slytherin? With Albus! Really, I think she threw those names out there for wicked reason. Sad

I also have no idea where wikipedia got their info...

Anyway, I still think it's great it was George who named his kid after Fred.
Poor/Lucky Ron, didn't get to name any of his kids after his brothers (well, lucky that not more of them died).

I kinda like the fact that Percy came around in the end, and i wouldn't want him to go either.......

Many people on Wikipedia just edit the information, whether it's right or not doesn't matter. So don't always believe Wikipedia.

Very true, but if you look at the famliy tree it's quite extencive and I dont think people could have made every bit of it up...

Just because he honored the two older headmasters doesn't make the name any better, Albus Severus is still a horrible name imo. I feel bad for Harry's kids.

Why would Harry force him to name his owl, I believe that should be up to his son...
