ok, where in the books dose snape have a goatee? see look:
JKR has never described him as having a goatee

see, when i picture Brits, it's not with a goatee lol. i wonder why the illistraiter put in a goatee if she/he knew snape didn't have one

As an Anthropology major this is a really horrible thing to say (apparently those in the colloquium feel that I am ethnocentric, anyway), but I thought the same thing!
I really don't have a problem with the artwork, though. It's well-done if not completely canon.

I get more of a Russian vibe off it...east european, which is close to middle east. it looks more like karkarov than snape.
