Gideon walked into Charms class, his Charms class book for fifth year under his arm. He saw Professor Flitwick standing on a pile of Charms books. Gideon had just eaten his breakfast and hurried back to the Hufflepuff Common Room to take his Charms books. Gideon said to Flitwick, "What are we going to learn today, Professor?"

Hufflepuffs were having classes with Gryffindors and Ravenclaws so Doge walked toward the Charms class, books in his bag. When he reached the classroom, he said, "Good Morning, Professor Flitwick!" Doge had also just eaten breakfast when he came hear.

Gideon went to sit by Doge. Just then, Flitwick announced, "We are going to learn the Stunning Spell. I know this is for Defense Against the Dark Arts class, but in here, you might as well learn it too! So, it goes like this--" Flitwick flicked his wand and made a quick S shape and then said, "Stupefy!" A far away dummy exploded. Gideon did the exact same thing and the his dummy went flying back and then exploded. Flitwick exclaimed with excitement, "Look here everybody, Mr. Prewett can do the Stunning Spell better than me!"

Riley Prewett copied Proffesor Fliwicks movements,and shouted "Stupefy!" Her dummy exploded. Her mouth broke into a wide smile.
(No, I'm not copying your last name, I just had he same idea for one as you did.)

(Lol? There are three Prewetts now? Are we a family or something?)

Doge copied the same movements except the dummy did not explode. He tried again. "Stupefy!" This time it worked and the dummy exploded.

Flitwick went on quickly. "Now we do the Bat Bogey Jinx. Professor McGonagall and Professor Dumbledore both told me to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts curses to you because we won't be even having the class this year." Flitwick did all the movements for the jinx and said to the others, "Now you try it." Gideon did the movements, slicing his wand through the air and flicking it at the same time so the dummy was exploded with bats around its head.

Doge was all over the place with the jinx. At first, he copied the wrong movements because there were so much of them, 10 of them. He kept making the dummy explode into pieces, the pieces all flying toward Flitwick. Finally after a good solid 30 minutes of practice, He managed to get the movements right. He then practiced until he got it, which only took 5 minutes. He mad the dummy cover its hands as bats flew around its head. "Well done, Mr. Prewett." Flitwick praised. Doge smiled.

Professor Flitwick said, "Now, we will be learning a very dangerous spell. Elementum is the incantation. It burns people to ashes. Like this." Flitwick made a quick A shaped letter in the air and then said, "Elementum." The dummy in front of him was burnt to ashes. Gideon tried it nonverbally and verbally, both worked as his dummy was burnt and then rebuilt, burnt and then rebuilt.

Doge made an A and shouted, "Elementum!" The whole room was filled in light as the dummy exploded into pieces. "Ooops, didn't work."

Professor Flitwick said, "Your opponent might explode, might be burnt into ashes, but still, the correct way is to burn him. We will be learning extra spells today. Twenty spells today."

"20 spells!" exclaimed Doge, bewildered. "How are we going to learn all of them in one day?" Then he started practicing the Elementum spell agian but each time, it kept doing nothing.

"Mr. Prewett!" yelled Flitwick impatiently. "Flick your wand while you're doing the "A" letter!"

Doge finally managed to explode the dummy, however, shards flew toward Flitwick.

Flitwick had totally lost his mind now. "Prewett! You're supposed to burn it to ashes!!!!!!!" Gideon burst out laughing. "Doge! You're supposed to do it like this!" Gideon did the right thing and his dummy was burnt into ashes.

Doge was frustrated and yelled at Flitwick, "You think I can get it perfect at the first few shots?" Then he started shouting Elementum to dummies near him.

Mellia walked into the room and said "Sorry i'm late Snape just let me out of potions I dropped something potion ingredient on the ground and then snape started yelling at me.".Then mellia asked "What have I missed?

"We are practicing the Elementum spell." said Doge. "It's a very complicated wave of wands. " Doge showed her how to do it. "Elementum!" The dummy burned to ashes.

Flitwick said, "You have missed the Stunning Spell, the Elemental Curse, and the Bat Bogey Jinx." Flitwick showed her how to do all those then said, "The Elemental Curse which is Elementum, either burns your opponent, sends him flying in a whirlwind, engulfs him in a ball of water, squeezes him in a smack of dirt and mud. Whatever kind you want to pick." Gideon did all of the kinds and the dummy exploded every time.
