Some parts in OotP are very important but they are not in the movie.

Like the part Ginny persuaded Harry that he wasn't possessed by Voldy. and how Ginny helped him to reach Sirius. Audience may not understand why Harry fell for Ginny all out of sudden in HBP.

Lily's part for Snape was completely taken out. I really wondered why. Did they really read the book? Do they understand why Jo wrote this scene?

Another scene in Gimmauld Place, Harry tried to mediate the fight between Sirius and Snape. This is how Harry resembled to his mother, not father.

What a pity! They can never make it up now!

the whole explanation of the prophecy and other stuff that dumbledore gives to harry wasnt there, i missed that, and harry throwing stuff in his office, to me that was very important, it was harry's breakdown

btw, i dont remember, in which part in the movie do we hear the prophecy?

In the movie, Harry heard it right after he got the prophecy. It really doesn't make sense. Actually he felt uneasy after he heard it. But he looked so calm and fought the DE with tactic in the movie. I doubt he could able to handle it.

First of all, this is the wrong forums. Second of all, there is already a thread discussing this . . . It's old, but I found it in the first few pages of the OotP movie thread wihtout a problem:

I asked Al about it... apparantly it is it the right forum. I thought the same thing you did, but according to Smexy anything that is HP related can be discussed in the GH. Which to me makes the other sections seems useless. And it makes it much harder for us to seacrh for threads.
