The ones that say "nineteen years later".

I DIDN'T.
For me, it justs spoils things.
He's not the young Harry anymore, there it says that he's 36 years old, he's married and his kids are going to hogwarts, his and his friends kids...
Plus, we don't know if they came to Hogwarts to finish school or their jobs... And what about other characters like Molly and Arthur Weasley and the Dursleys?
I prefered maybe three years to nineteen, if she just had advanced three she could still continue the story...
I heard too that she was going to write another book... About what? Harry's children? No thanks. :S

JKR answered this... Out of the trio only Hermone completed school. Harry went on to become an auror that summer after the battle and eventually Head Auror in 2007. Ron went t help George in the joke shop.
Luna marries Rolf Scamander and the have two twin boys.
Neville marries Hannah Abbott and they live aboce the Leaky Cauldron which Hannah owns.
Draco marries a former Slytherin, Astoria Greengrass, who is Daphne Greengrass's little sister....

There was a bunch of other stuff JKR has told us since the Book 7 release... I provided a bunch of links for you below, including a picture of the Weasley Family Tree.

She doesn't want to conitnue the story, that's why she set it far into the future. The next book she will be writing about Harry Potter will be the Potterpedia. It's supposedly an encylopedia of facts and answers we have been wanting to know or perhaps already do know.

She made the ending short, and not well complained on purpose.

The last pages were a bit short, the nineteen years later was very good, but I peferred that it was going to show what all the characters were doing now, so I was kind of disappointed.

I didn't like it at first, but it definately grew on me. The final book didn't disappoint me at all. Even when I wasn't fond of the final chapter, everything else made that bit OK.

That was the really hard part for me . . . just skipping past all of those years right away. It seemed like I didn't kow that characters in their adult forms, and it made me sad. It was like seeing a best friend years down the road and realizing that you have nothing in common.

Exactely, like seein a best friend years down the road and realizing that you have nothing in common with him.. That was hard for me, I prefered that after Harry killed Voldemort they had had a conversation and stabilized thing and then the book would end, I really hated the "ninteen years later" thing.

I liked it very much! It was weird to see all of them grown up, but it was kinda interesting. I really don't know why everybody's making a big deal out of it!

I thought that the ending was bittersweet, it wasn't complex - it was simple.

I liked how Rowling finished it with Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione sending they're kids off to school. Like history was repeating itself. I thought it was great. Smile

The epilogue was very disappointing. I felt that JKR was rushing to get the book out. It'd be nice if we read about what happened after Voldemort died. Does the trio go back to school and graduate from Hogwarts, etc.? It's probably mentioned in interviews and stuff, though, but it'd be neat if it came along with the book.

I foud thid on the lexicon. She originally was going to write more. She has said that she has written the final chapter more than once, but all of the information just seemed like it was too much.

Quote:
Jo said the Epilogue was supposed to be a lot more detailed than what it turned out to be. It was even supposed to contain the names of the children born to the Weasley clan for the past 19 years. "But it didn't work very well as a piece of writing," she said. "It felt very much that I had crowbarred in every bit of information I could."

I gave my opinion, don't want to read it, too bad.. I don't want to read a book about harry's children, my opinion.
