The book is by Neil Gaiman, which is why it's made of awesome I found the book good, personally. I enjoyed the movie but thought the book was better - but that's usually the case. _________________ I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once. The book is great. I recommended it to people for about two weeks after I read it. Does the movie screw around with the plot at all? _________________ "Lily Angorian has a heart like a boiled stone."

It changes some things around - I would guess for entertainment value. They changed the very end a bit too.[/spoiler] _________________ I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once. i read the book and personally preferred the movie! Reading a Neil Gaiman book is hard going at times because his imagination runs riot on several occasions!
But didnt stop me buying another my his titles 'Neverwhere', which again is all over the place but enjoying it! _________________

Personally i am finding it a better read than Stardust. Once again it is a little bit hard to follow at times! But I reckon its worth reading! _________________

I liked Neverwhere better than Stardust too. Gaiman does have quite the imagination - some of his short stories are pretty out there. I love his sense of humor though. _________________ I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I shot one once. Yeah, there are. I don't think he actually intended it for children, despite it being sort of fairytale-like. He did write some children's/young adult stuff, but I don't think Stardust is considered part of that. _________________ I don't have a lot of experience with vampires, but I have hunted werewolves. I can see a lot of younger kids watching the movie then reading the book and getting a little shock! _________________
