I couldn't help it. Having read that many people have formed these slash couples like Draco and Harry and Sirius and Remus and who knows who else...well I only knew those two. And I'm reading along and all of the sudden Draco is tightly clutching Harry at the waist while they ride a broom together. I thought about the happy stories all the slash fans might write about that and wondered if JKR had done it on purpose to make them happy. And then I'm reading the reunion scene and In walks James and Lily and Sirius and Remus. And my first thought was, where is Tonks? And then I realized Harry probably had just called back those HE loved or whatever. But it left me thinking...there she goes again, another little fan writers dream where Tonks is outta the picture and Sirius and Remus are all happy in the afterworld. I dunno. Just struck me as funny.

I definitely loved Sirius/Lupin!!!! I thought for sure it was Sirius/Lupin before Tonks made that startling announcement at the end of HBP. I have often wondered if she just added that in so people would stop thinking it was Sirius/Lupin. Like, maybe she meant for it to be Sirius/Lupin, but she thought she kept it well hidden. But we were too clever for her.... I like Lupin/Tonks, but I will always have Sirius/Lupin in my heart forever!

I think Remus/Sirius is adorable, but I don't think JK ever intended it that way. In fact she said she was surprised somebody had picked up on Lupin/Tonks early. that map icon is awesome

Yes. But it's very good. And it does make sense. I mean, really... out of all the animagus forms to take, he chooses the one closest to a werewolf... because turning into a wolf would have been a dead give-away. A big dog is obviously the next best thing.
