Heeeeeey.

Was it just me or did you notice how many times Hermione cried in DH? I mean honestly! I was starting to get fed up with it after a while. Did you notice it, or yeah, was it just me? Razz

I hope they don't put Emma Watson crying 23254 in the movies, hah.

Well, she was going through a very emotional and physically draining experience. People were trying to hunt her and her friends down and they wanted to kill her. She had to force her family to forget she exists and she lived in a tent all winter away from civilization. She was abandoned by the boy she loved and attacked, tortured and had loved ones die.
I would have been surprised if she didn't cry.

I was never interested in reading about Hermione's turbulant emotions. I think those descriptions were filler. But yet, I noticed this, and found myself not concerned with Hermione as a character... by DH, her brains was her only redeeming trait.

Hermione's break-down was inevitable. She was Harry and Ron's rock through out the series, but her emotions were seldom accounted for. She took every one else's load, and yet she never put any of her problems on the others. She needed a reprieve from that tough life.

Tis true... she took on all of Harry's troubles, and even took on Buckbeaks's case in PoA, along with all of her other responsibilites. She spends the whole series looking out for others and never once asked anything from others except for them to join S.P.E.W., which Harry and Ron only did to shut her up.
The emotional impact of everything was bound to take it's toll eventually.
