She hid?
SOmehow all the zombies left them alone from that grenade?
She walked away without harm?
The she found a giant fort but didn't notice it till she was 20 yards away?
If you watch it I think you might agree, I thought it could somehow be better

I agree. I did not like the ending.. It was to broad and did not tell enough information on it. A lot of movies are kinda like that but this one was really bad. _________________

Are you kidding me? If he didn't commit suicide the cure would have never reached the hands of the rest of the survivors. He told her to hide and killed the mutated humans who had seen her hide so when more came down they would see nothing but a blown up basement and leave. There was nothing really to show. She just hid in there until morning and moved out to find the human community. Being that it was morning the creatures could not come out. If your interested in it that much you could read the book. Both I_Am_Legend & I_Robot were books before the movie. Also, both main characters were original Caucasian but IMO Will Smith was the right actor for the job. _________________ Join Reality Of It All!!!

I liked the actual ending better than the alternate one i mean, why did they even showed that ending to us , thats a stupid way to spoil a movie.

Right.. I forgot about that important factor. Haha. I seen this movie awhile ago. (I might read the book it does seem interesting. and people who have read it says it's 10X better then the movie. Which is normally the case for any book/movie) _________________

That he puts cure inwith bullets, so bullets have cure on them. then he starts shooting... The zombies come in and kill him and her and the boy lol
Then it shows like 2 days later. then a bunch of zombies come back to life... and then something crazy happens with people and zombies like a brawl or a chase.... end
That could make people left for wanting more which is a commonly used feature in movies and songs
ex:Movies pretend there could be room for sequal
ex: Songs slowly die out at ending instead of just ending
but i don't think that for the reasons you gave. i think that he did need to kill himself. and it was good that the mother and the boy found the other survivors.
but i just didn't get it. he sees the butterfly in the cracked glass and is like "oooohhhh!"
WTF??? how did that make him realise what the cure was?? and it didn't even try to explain what the cure was. it just said it was something to do with the blood. it's as if they spent all this time thinking up such a great consept but they didn't really know how you could cure something like that so they just left it open.... _________________

i loved the flash backs. it kept you in suspense about how it all happened. it got kinda confusing though i'll admit.... _________________
