I think that Hermione and Ron are still friends but they definately will end up together in the next book. JK has put too much indicators of their relationship to not have them end up together. That is of course, unless she plans to continue the series after the seventh book and put them together later on. But I doubt that..

I think it's pretty obvious where things are headed.....They grew up together and have reached the age where feelings change. They will definitly end up together....provided that they live in #7. My question is... what happens with Harry and Ginny? Will they make it to the next step? Or are they going to be thworted by the 2 deaths said to take place? I have a feeling that Mr. and Mrs. Weasley may come into contact with some very serious danger, in order to protect their "extended" family. If so, that may answer some of the ?'s as to whom the 2 victims are......Yes, no? Shocked

I think for now they are still friends, but that definitely indicated that something could happen soon....the start of something. There are small hints and clues that JK has given us and left us about Ron and Hermione and I think that that very well may be one of them. But, still I think for now they have not really started a relationship and are friends for the time being.

as far as I heard JK confirmed that the two will be a couple. She said that because she saw on diffrent sites that they make up stuipid ideas for Ron and Hermoine. Oh well like Jk she can lie like the rest of us.

I think at the end of the last book, they finally understood each other's feelings. So they will probably be together at the start of the next book.

-hermione is jealous when Ron hooks up with lavender brown

-harry thinks in him mind that he has to keep a close eye on both his friends in the 6th book.
