I really like episodes 4-6. I wasn't too crazy about the newer ones.

I love it! I loved it so much that when my dad got it when i was in the 2nd grade, i watched them everyday afterschool for like two years or something. Then when he moved away i stole them from him, and he still hasnt got them back! Nyahahhaha.

But he got revenge and stole my collection of Mobile Suit Gundam tapes...

But yeah the series is great, though i have to say, I like the old movies best. The new ones, i dunno i just dont feel it the same flare that i did for the old ones...

I grew up with episodes 4, 5 and 6. They have a special place in my heart. Being so little and a girl, I thought the Ewoks were the cutest things ever and I find it funny how everyone else (esp guys) thinks they're so lame. Now that I'm older, I esp love Han and Leia (he's a "scoundrel" but head-strong Leia falls for him anyway..."I love you!"..."I know").

I watched 1, 2 and 3 in the theaters for the sake of watching the prequels, but they left me disappointed (due to the over-high-tech-ness, acting (Hayden...bleh), and the totally weak characterization of Padme in episode 3). I think episode 3 was the best of those however, because it shows the tragic beginnings of Darth Vader...and I loved the last fight scene between Aniken and Ben (Ewan is a stud!)

yeah padme was so cool in the first two and then in 3 she was all sobby and clingy, they dropped the ball on her. and hayden's acting totally sucked. anakin was so cute in the first one and then you get to old anakin and he's all emo and whiny and...i thought luke was whiny but he's NOTHING compared to his father!

Arabella- totally! Couldn't agree more.

Padme was a gun-toting, mid-riff-exposing fighter in episode 2, and I thought, "how cool...this is where Leia gets her strength!" Then in episode 3, Padme's character does a 180, and dies of a broken heart...or something. As she cries something like, "Anakin, you're breaking my heart" , I want to scream the following:

Buck up woman!...you've got a baby (2 actually) on the way, and no idiot husband should get in the way of protecting your babies and yourself! Ditch the fool and run for your lives!

lol

yeah, you know, I never really liked 1-3. I liked 3 somewhat, but that was basically cause of the fight scenes... and im so used to whiny little boys that i dont even notice that lukes whinny... he's a beefy stud in my eyes.!
