This is dumb, but I just finished reading GoF and I'm now going back to find mentions of Ron being upset that he gave Harry leprechaun (fake) gold when he wanted to pay Harry back.

Can anyone tell me what chapter that is in? I'm getting dizzy flipping pages. Thanks!

T.H.A.N.K.S.

Here's another question (I've tried searching the 'Dark Mark' and following chapters again, but to no avail...)

Does Harry ever realize before that moment (in Ch. 2Cool that the leprechaun gold he received from Ron disappears?

This is what I get for reading right before bed...and for not marking pages with sticky notes or tabs Razz

No, he never realizes it disappeared. He received the gold from Ron... then they watched the Quidditch match. After that they went to bed, followed by the DE's having a laugh at the campsite. It was a very distracting night, as he tells Ron right after Ron learns the truth about Leprachaun gold.

Oh, ok. I couldn't remember if Harry really knew and was just easing the blow by lying to Ron, or if he was honestly distracted by all the chaos at the World Cup.

*rolls eyes at self*....I don't even know why I even bother with such details that aren't even that relevant to the story....quite the dork.

Thanks, friends, for clearing this up for me Razz

There is nothing wrong with paying attention to all the little details. Otherwise that would make me a dork, too... wait a minute... nevermind. Sad

*hugs*
