I blame Alfunso for starting the muggle clothings trend in the movies. I'm peed off to see half the time the students were wearing muggle clothes. Ignoring the scenes from Hogsmeade, but when the Trio go and visit Hagrid right before Buckbeak's execution.

Hermione.. a PINK HOODIE?!?! WITH JEANS?? I don't know what was going on there...

well hermione being muggleborn would have alot of muggleclothing. pluss at this point the only robes the students would own woudl be their school ones.

It didn't bother me that the student wore their muggle clothes in Hogsmeade. I annoyed me a great doeal that they weren't in their school robes for the whole time turner scene at the end, though.

I prefer them in the school robes! When I read the books, I always imagined them in their robes/uniforms.

well people can't be dressed up at all times! if you wore a uniform would you want to where it all day long like from sunrise to sunset? i think that the teachers only take points off if it's like the first and last day of school or during classes.

Maybe, but when not in school robes, then they should still be in regular robes. They don't wear muggle clothes in the wizarding world.

I don't think they'd be able to maintain their pg13 rating in the movies, then.

I can never imagine Hermione in a pink hoodie.

The movie has made that possible...unfortunately.

Yeah, they should have stuck to robes more. The film-makers said they wanted it more relaxed, but still... And on OoP they wear actual uniforms, but no ROBES much. Just like shirts and pants n stuff
