"The battle rages on in the fourth edition of Activision's acclaimed war game. For the first time in the series, Call of Duty moves away from WWII to the modern battlefield. Armed with an arsenal of advanced and powerful modern day firepower, players are transported to treacherous hotspots around the glove to take on a rogue enemy group threatening the world. It combines a ton of action with tried and true gameplay, as well as all the expected non-shooter immersive elements of CoD that fans of the series have come to expect."

That is one form of telling about the game. Anyone have it? If so how is it? I really want it lol.

I rented the game. It blows Halo 3 away when it comes to online play.

If they really had to jump, they actually missed 2 major wars if now one noticed, First Korea, then Vietnam. It would've been really kool if they had a Korea game. First of a Kind

My brother hogs the Xbox 360 but by what I saw It's a mixture of G.R.A.W and Rainbow six Veges. You can also Shank people (Cut them with your knife)

I just beat the game and I have nothing else to say other then....wow. The gameplay blew me away. It was amazing. The graphics, realism, and great gameplay has made this my favorite game I own. I absolutely love it. Definitely going on my top ten.

Spoiler:

It was wicked fun to kill that Russian in the end when Price slides you the pistol. One shot in the head to him and a few shots into the other two guys. I thought that was wicked realistic. When I saw him coming up I was like, I'M GONNA POP A CAP IN YOUR ASS SON! Then I popped one in his head. Close enough. It was sad to see Capt. Price die though.

I've got it, S.A.S missions are a breath of fresh air! A lot of the missions strike me as the same, A.I. is advanced more though, its good to be able to be in the veichles more and fast-rope out of helicopters etc.

The first missions shocked me a little with how intense the graphics were..it kicks ass but got boring quickly.

Can amazing game! I just got it two days ago and spent this morning playing it. I love how bullets penetrate some walls. Perfect for split screen mayhem.

Spoiler:

The prologe when you look through the eyes of the president is a bit freaky realistic. Pft, and I thought that I was a solider and kept smashing buttons the whole time.

I'm on th level where you go into the past and play as Capt. Price. Of course, the level involves stealth, which i don't have.

I'm wondering, is it possible to beat the 2 tanks and 2 dozenish infantry, or do you have to 'stealth'?

Trust me I tried. I cannot stealth either. So I got up when the tanks came shot one guy, picked up his AK and started blasting guys. I was doing good...but the stupid tank had to blow me up. GOD DAMNIT LEEROY!

Spoiler:

The President scene was pretty damn awesome though.

Still can't beat it, so I go back to the helicopter level. I love it when you get to use the 3 different guns and blow up buildings. Everythings so...destructable.

If you play, 2 beginner hints:

Bullets go through walls.

And...don't bother 'saving' ammo, its soo easy to find more if your playing on the easier diffitculties.

Dragunov? Awesome.

Right now I'm in the heli crash level and trying to shoot down the heli w/o Stingers.

I hate fighting dogs though. It was so...sad? meleeing the dogs and

Spoiler:

snapping its neck. Sad

Yeah Duelingwands watching their reaction is awesome. Also, fredrickSV94, the game takes years to join because of your internet connection, or it's probably just the PS3.
