Fanart or fanfiction?

I prefer fan art. can't really explain why but I'd rather look at fanart for hours than read ff.

I love fan fics!!! when a book is over they are great to tide you over till next book, and in the Deathly Hallows case... well they just mean that Harry Potter isnt over, theres still lots of Harry Potter to read Very Happy

I guess I don't like reading HP stuff that's not from Rowling...I mean it can be really fun and good, but its not the same. Fan Art somehow...well they can draw stuff from the book but sometimes they draw new things, but without putting it into words it doesn't feel so...I dunno lol. It also takes less time to browse.

yea i like the fanfic on this site i find it interesting and it's still a fairly new concept to me. does anyone know a good fan art site? i haven't really seen any on potterforums.com but maybe i'm not looking in the right place.

I really like them both...

It really depends on my mood about fanfiction, though. Some of it is so cheesy... but sometimes, when I need a good laugh, I don't even mind that.

I myself prefer fanfiction to fanart. Fanfiction just draws more of my attention than pictures of the stories. I have my own brain to visualize things with, I just need the words. Though fanart is pretty good when it's well drawn, it's just not the best in my opinion.

OMG, i visit her site almost every day since she came back online(she was downa for a couple of weeks) but since she came back I kept waiting and waiting... and she finally updated! I am so excited!!!

As you can probebely tell it's fan art for me.
I do alot of drawings and graphics of fan art. I really like to see what other people do and how they do it as well.

I like both of them, really can't decide, but spend more time looking for fanfiction than fanarts Wink

Fiction. I envision the scenes so clearly I really don't want anything to screw up how I look at them. That's why I don't really like the movies as much.
