Well for my poetry class I need to pick a modern poet to use as a mentor by Tuesday. and I really have no idea who to do. Do you guys know of anybody? I'm thinking I want to do a female, but shoot guys my way anyway. Some suggestions would be really appreciated.

She's my favorite modern poet, definitely... I did a report on her in college, she's great.

Also, Maya Angelou is wonderful.
