(Author's Note: This will be a major writing project for me, in an attempt to document every moment of Draco's life from his diary point of view. I will update as much as possible. Don't mind any minor grammer mistakes, Draco's only 11.)

8/1/1991

I have decided to keep a diary of my life, starting this day. My cunning should be passed on from generation to generation of Malfoy's. As I write in this leatherworn volume, my parents are engaging in another arguement. It has escalading to cursing each other by the sounds of it, from my third floor bedroom. Father is very dissaproving of me going to a second-rate school Hogwarts. They allow Mudbloods there; the indignity! How could they allow Purebloods and Slytherins mingle with filthy Mudbloods. I must bring this to a close. Dinner will be served soon, and tommorrow I will be leaving to Diagon Alley, to pick up supplies for the school called Hogwarts.

Agreed. This looks like a nice, long fanfiction that'll let us see everything from Draco Mayfoy's point of view. Awesome!

8/2/1991

Diagon Alley was an utter diaster. To explain, we bumped into a small family there. A young witch, her mother, and her Muggle father. To think Muggle's are allowed in Diagon Alley, what have we come to? Father had seen this trio, and gave forth snide remarks and abusive language. The witch, no older than myself, burst into tears. A few bystanders joined the arguement, and soon Father was shooting up the Alley place with curses, and Mother was hastily leading me away. Total humiliation for the Malfoy family. Ministry Authorities had joined in the fight to make things worse. As I write, Father is in a holding cell in the Ministry building, Mother is crying downstairs, and I'm writing in disbelief from my black cherry desk in my room.

I am in a state of disbelief as I write this. After yesterday’s court hearing for my Father, where I spent the day at the Manor studying hexes. Father returned of the wee hours this morning; not with another Courtl Summons, but a houself. He had managed to scourge a goodwill present from the Ministry. He had been able to prove false the word of over sixty people who had watched the incident, a feat not even my Father could do without help. An inside job. I have reason to believe my Father has men in the Ministry to help him complete various deeds. I admire him. The houself, a runt he named Grumbal, had proved to be quite helpful. I admit, I felt a moment of pity earlier this morning ,over my tea, to Father’s victims, whom he had stripped of rightful liability rewards. I must strive to stay ahead of these…pointless emotions. Cunning, wickedness, and wealth is the way for the Malfoys.

I just don't understand. Maybe if I write it down, it will help. And anyways, my headache isn't getting any bettr.
Father returned home sometime around midnight, perhaps earlier. I was curled up in an armchair around the fire, having fell asleep in a game of Wizard's Chess with Mother. In a sort of drunken rage or fury, he grabbed a large vase and I theorized he flung it at the armchair I was nestled in. It ricocheted off the back and crashed into the floor, jolting me awake. The Houself burst out of kitchen holding a tray of tea and cookies and offered some to Father. My father's face twisted with anger, and he grabbed the teapot and launched it at me, when I was foolishly caught unaware. It struck me somewhere on the head and I fell to the floor.

I awoke around three in the morning, my head throbbing. It had been magically healed and bandaged, most likeily Mother had been awoken and calmed down Father. Unable to sleep, I called Grumbal, who offered me a slice of current cake and milk (How thoughtful). I remembered to stick a Light-Jammer againest the crack of my door and began to write, the Houself cleaning my room.
