How did all of you feal about the scene at the end of the movie (after Dumbldore and Voldermorts fight) when Voldermort is torturing Harry?
I thought is was really bad for a couple of reasons:
-The flashes of random images and voldermort with a weird backdrop behind him looked really bad to me
-"I feel sorry for you..." - corny!? I'm pretty sure that didn't happen in the book also
-I don't know if anybody else noticed it, but it makes me laugh really hard when there is the flash of Voldermort going "dep!" while it happens. Sort of ruins it for me, lol
So, what do you think? |

I dont like how Dumbledore just kinda stood there and didn't even say much.. I kinda liked how Harry said he was sorry for Voldemort.. but yea, it wasn't in the book. I don't like the shots that were done because at first it didn't look like he was being tortured.. and like, when I watched the movie, I wasn't sure what was happening at first because the shots were confusing. But then it clicked, oh, Voldemort was inside his head _________________

I liked that, actually. I thought it was very sad that Dumbledore could so easily take over Harry. I believe it did happen in the books, but it wasn't as pronounced as it was in the movie.
But yeah, I thought it was quite emotional, and I think it was a good idea. Dumbledore looked so sad about it--and I LOVED, absolutely LOVED, that they showed clips from the other movies-it really made it seem like Voldemort was in Harry's head. I think this director did an excellent job with it! _________________ http://phogwartsacts.proboards78.com

its kind of annoying in the movies how, yes this is going to sound weird, voldemort is almost acting like a father to harry... like hes telling harry to torture bella and feel the curses, and how he always wants to see harry face to face and talk with him, it kind of takes away the scary-ness lol you kind of forget that hes the bad guy,,, _________________

Actually to me, it makes it more scary. I wouldn't be surprised if Voldemort wanted Harry to join the Dark Side. Think of it,
The Dark Lord and the Boy Who Lived together, I'm sure Harry would have became a great wizard learning from Voldemort, and Voldemort would no longer have a threat. _________________

Dumbledore makes it clear though that Voldemort wants power alone. He doesn't share it. And Harry was a threat to Voldemort's power ever Vol tried to kill him. In Voldemort's mind, the only way he could fully regain power is to kill Harry. _________________

| i agree the random backdrop scenes were annoying but u had to show some kind of reaction from him inside his head but nonetheless it was one of my fav parts in the movie, gave it a bit of a close that the book didnt have |

I thought that scene was one of the best in the movie. That scene makes my short list of things better in the movie than the book. Eventhough, I know you couldnt write it in the book like it was in the movie. I loved how it showed good moments from the other movies and that they ran Voldemort out of his body. _________________ Amor Vincit Omnia!

Well, it was good, but i didn't like one part of it. Harry and dumbledore were supposed to be alone with voldemort until the end of the fight. I always thought it a part of Harry's character of how he bears the pain of voldemort on a more solitary basis. he was supposed to be alone with dumbledore and voldemort, but with an audience, i think it kind of stole something from that moment. _________________ Ice shall instill the heart of man...only silence will remain
