A sad strong story made by me. There's only one chapter, and here it is:
The dark lord was standing right in front of him. Voldemort. It had been so many days, so many years! But Harry was finally here, and he was sure. This time Voldemort would be defeated! Voldemort felt his anger, his hate! He smiled. Harry wasn't scared. He had Remus Lupin by his side. Lupin and Harry had planned this day for weeks, and now they were finally here...
FLASHBACK
"...And Harry, if I say move it, you will!"
Remus Lupin said, looking down at Harry. Harry slowly nodded, but didn't say anything.
"Harry!" Lupin said, looking seriously. "You will do as i say so!"
"I WON'T LET YOU DIE!" Harry shouted, and felt his heart beating harder than ever. There was a long silence, and then Harry quietly said:
"I won't let you die. This is my destiny. I am the chosen one, and i'm supposed to take care of my self..."
"Harry! Yes, you are the chosen one! You are the one to defeat the dark lord, but there is a reason that I am still alive, I will have a part in this final battle and thats why im coming with you! Even if it meens that I'll have to sacrifice my self! I WILL NOT LET YOU GO ALONE!" Harry looked at Lupin, and he was looking at Harry.
"I know" Harry said.
"You care for me. Like all the other people who has died for me. I quess you are one of them. The next"
With those words Harry turned around and walked out of the room. Lupin was standing back, alone in the room.
"This isn't going to be easy" He said, and left the room too.
END OF FLASHBACK
Harry was breathing slowly and steady. Voldemort was still looking at him and Lupin. Lupin smiled at Harry. Not a happy smile, but a brave one.
"No matter, what is going to happen Harry" Lupin started.
"I.." Lupin didn't know what to say.
"...Everything is going to be fine..." Harry could see that Lupin looked all nerveous.
"Yes" Harry answered. "We will make it..." He tried to smile, but couldn't.
"Harry Potter..." Voldemort said.
"You have brought a friend with you, i see."
Harry didn't say anything. Voldemort took his wand out.
"So many days, such a long time..." Voldemort said, with his cold evil voice. "...And finally, you finds me while I'm walking all alone in the Room of requirement...May i ask how?" Voldemort looked at Harry, but Harry wouldn't answer.
FLASHBACK
Harry woke up, when a male voice said:
"Harry, i have it!" Harry woke up and put on his glasses on. He saw Lupin standing with a little ball in his hand.
"Harry, take it!" Harry didn't quite understood, but he took the little glass ball in his hands. Suddently small words appeared on the ball, and a female voice was saying:
"The final battle with take place in the room, where you can achieve anything, tommorow. The dark lord versus the boy who lived. The final fight." The female voice stopped. Remus was standing, looking curius.
"...The place where you can achieve anything...Do you understand it? It must be the room of requirement!...Right?"
"What is this?" Harry said, holding this the little ball in the hand.
"Oh" Lupin started. "It's a prophecy from the Department of Mysteries, for you and the dark lord! Now we know, where he is! We will attack him tommorow! Without he knows it! At Hogwarts! But, do you understand?!" Harry nodded, and his heart was beating very hard. He now knew when it was going to happen. He was prepared.
END OF FLASHBACK
"What's wrong Harry? Too afraid to answer the dark lord!?" Voldemort said, still standing with his wand in his hand. Harry didn't answer, and spat at Voldemort:
"Do you think i'll tell you "Tom"!" Harry said, trying to sound brave.
"You better start showing me some respect boy! CRUCIO!" A flash of lightening hit Harry, and he fell to the ground in pain.
"NO! HARRY!" Lupin shouted, and kneeled down next to him. The pain stopped, and Harry opened his eyes.
"Oh yes...I almost forgot about you Remus...Stupid of you to show up!" Voldemort pointed his wand at Lupin, and Harry saw, still laying on the floor, Voldemorts mouth move, and he was blinded by a flash of green light.
FLASHBACK
Harry was standing outside Sirius' house looking up at the stars on the black sky.
"There's no moon out there?" Said the voice of Remus Lupin, and Harry laughed.
"No, all clear" He said, and Remus Lupin walked over next to him.
"I miss him" Harry said, still looking at the stars above. "Sirius"
"Me too Harry, me too..." Lupin said, also looking at the stars and swung his arm around Harry.
"Soon, all this will be over, and you and your friends will live a happy life again..." Lupin said, and smiled at Harry.
"What about you?" Harry said.
"We'll see Harry...We'll see..." And they were both standing there looking at the stars. Just standing. With no idea of what was coming.
END OF FLASHBACK
Harry opened his eyes, and saw it. The body of Remus Lupin was laying on the ground, with his eyes wide open. All his fears, and all his thoughts had come true. Harry felt how his eyes got filled with tears, and slowly dripped down his face. Harry was crying. He was crying harder than ever. The last marauder had fallen...Harry got on his legs, with his wand in his hand. He almost couldn't see anything because of all the tears in his eyes.
"Oh...How sad...Are you crying little Potter?" Voldemort said, and started laughing his cold laughter.
"You are going to die Riddle!" Harry said, and pointed his wand and Voldemort.
"Hahaha!" Voldemort was laughing a wild laughter. "You actually think that you can kill me Harry?" Voldemort then pointed his wand at Harry. "Goodbye...Harry...AVADA KEDAVRA!" The green flash occured, but Harry was faster:
"PROTEGO!!!" Harry felt how his spell hit Voldemorts spell, and heard the scream of Voldemort, the incredible cold loud scream. And saw Voldemort fall to the ground, with his mouth still open, defeated. The dark lord lay on the ground, and the boy who lived, was standing back with his wand still pointing at Voldemort, his eyes were filled with tears, but he was free now. He wasn't the chosen one anymore. It was over.
"Harry, you are the bravest wizard i have ever met! And...I LOVE YOU!!!" Ron said, looking really drunk. Harry was at Sirius' house, were his friends were holding a party for him. Harry saw Fred and George dancing, also really drunk and Ginny sitting with her friends talking about Harry. Harry felt like joining them, but he still thought of Lupin and it made him sad every time.
"Harry" The voice of Hermione said, and Harry turned around.
"I found this letter in Lupin's room, its for you..."
Dear Harry
When you are reading this, im probably dead.
But dont worry, i won't forget you. Even in my grave i'll remember you. I will remember the time when James and Lilly told me about you for the first time. I remember the first time i hold you, how little you was, and look at how big you are now. I remember the time i met you again on the train to your third year. How i learned you to defeat dementores, and how good you was at it. I remember how sad i was, when i chose not to teach at Hogwarts. And how i was going to miss you. But Harry. You will always be in my heart, and I love you.
Goodbye.

I love it! I hate to be the one to point out flaws, particularily in fanfics, but maybe you should change Harry's defending spell to something else, because the unforgivable curses are unblockable. But you know, that doesn't really matter.
