Yeah, that's right. If they're not dead, then there's no protection, I guess. _________________ Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus

I still think it will be his old home ... Godrics Willow. By the way. This is taken from *Pixies signiture.
His eyes are as green as a fresh pickled toad,
his hair is as dark as a blackboard.
I wish he was mine, he's really divine,
the hero who conquered the Dark Lord.
- Ginny (CoS)
Doesn't that mean that Harry won't die?!?! Its good proof. _________________ Long live the Dark Lord! |

But is there enough room in Godrics Hollow for an all out battle between Harry and Voldemort. Coz Harry will spend half his time running and hiding, so isnt Godric's Hollow a bit too cramped. _________________ I made this Sig

Yeah, I hadn't thought of that before. For all we know, Godric's Hollow might be a tiny village. And won't there be people there, Muggles or wizards? _________________ Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus

in gof, the sorting hat says that godric gryffendor is from len and salazar slytherin is from glen, maybe it will be in one of those places _________________ but perhaps those who are best suited to power are those who have never sought it. Those who have leadership thrust upon them ... and take the mantle because they must, to find to their own surprise that they wear it well |

Well, maybe they were just referring to the type of terrain, but that could be a possibility. Maybe some place of Slytherin's like the Chamber. _________________ Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus

| I think it will be in either Godrics Hollow or Hogwarts but i'd put money on Godrics Hollow. I always assumed that Godrics Hollow was the name of the house where James, Lily and Harry lived and i have a feeling that it was where Godric Gryffindor lived as well but i could be wrong. It would make sense that James was related to him as we know he is pure-blood and Harry was able to pull the sword out of the sorting hat in Chamber of Secrets. This would mean the decendants of Slytherin and Gryffindor would be going head to head in a final battle that was inevitable and would have had to have happend at some point in time. But i'm probably way off as i usually am! |

JKR said that it would take a united Hogwarts to defeat LV, and that once all the Houses of Hogwarts unite, they're an unstoppable force.
Much of getting the Army together would have to take place inside Hogwarts, just for logistics of getting all the Houses together.
But the final battle (*scratches head Arthur Wealsey style*)
Hogwarts
Godrics Hollow
LV fathers Grave - where Wormtail cut off his hand
Somewhere significant to the story, but where? IMHO I rather fancy LV's father's grave. A nice gruesome end to Tom Riddle, at the grave where he regained his body. |

Hallows can be relics, like the Holy Grail. The hallows are probably artifacts or items not a place.
There are the 13 Hallows of Arthurian legend, one of which includes the mantel of Arthur, a cloak which makes the wearer invisible.
JKR knows her celtic history. |
