When I first read "Chamber of Secrets", I was all for Harry/Ginny. But I liked Cho Chang, and became a Harry/Cho shipper while reading "Goblet of Fire". Even though I loved the relationship, I loved the brake up more. It was so true to life. And just when I thought Rowling would keep Harry single...BAM! Ginny comes back into the picture. Now I'm once again sold on Harry/Ginny. Rowling is a master at the bait and switch.

So has anyone else had a shipping change of heart?

I don't think I ever really thought about it too much. I wasn't very into Cho for Harry, but I kind of liked Hermione with him. Now that they've started to grow up a bit more, I definitely see how Ginny's the one for Harry.

In the books, I liked harry and Cho and absolutely loved Harry and Ginny!
In the movie, I didn't feel Cho, at all.

I've been on and off with Harry and his love life. Then I realized anyone close to him is like a burden b/c of Voldy. A girlfriend would give him even more incitive (sp?) to grab her and use her aganist him.

I wasn't sure about anyone for Harry but Ginny is really good for him. But that break up had Spider-man written all over it, but that seems to be part of Harry's personality.

I always pictured Harry and Luna together. I mean obivousley Harry cares about her...the way he tried to stop her that night when he was going to the Ministry of Magic because he was afraid she would get hurt. The wayhe offered to find her books when people had stolen them. the way she always seems to be like him (being able to see and hear things others cant.) for example they were able to see the thestrals and they were both able to hear voices from behind the veil at the ministry. They have a lot in common and always try to help one another.

I did like Harry and Luna together, but as soon as Ginny came back into the picture, I surpassed the idea.

I feel very, very, out of topic, even though you did say any
shipping change of heart. So.
I used to be a major Lily/James shipper, then Remus/Lily.
Now I ship Lily/Sirius.

OH OH OH,
and I hate Harry/Hermione. Nuu~, Hermione is Ron's. And if he can't have her, he can have Lavender back. I used to ship Neville/Ginny, because of the Yule Ball, but as soon as Luna was introduced, I switched immediately to Neville/Luna.
It's such an odd pairing, but to me, it works.

Yeah. It's kind of awkward, as Lily did marry James, but, I mean, either way, she would've dated her opposite.
Lily's serious with her school work and straight forward. To her, pranks are the most immature thing ever.
Sirius and James -- not so much. Pranks are their lives.
Plus, I've always seen Sirius as having a little crush on Lily, whether Lily had one on him or not.

ive never really liked harry with anyone, i dunno why i just thought it was kinda pointless. i didnt really like h/g, im not possitive why but i just saw it as being kinda stupid, (sry h/g shippers)

When I read the the above post I realised how good Harry and Luna are together. I just use to like this ship because I can't stand Ginny but now I really like it because they are so compatible.
