I think he's a good character. He's not overly important besides the fact that he is mildly suspected of putting Harry's name in the Goblet but I think he's just sorta funny.
I dunno, I just liked him and wished he was in the movie.

Yeah I wish they would have told Barty Crouch Jr.'s entire story.
It makes no sense to say "Send an owl to Azkabhan, they'll see that they are missing a prisoner."
First of all, Sirius is the only person to escape (on his own we find out anyway) and to say this in the movie I think cheapens what he did, if you have only seen the movies.
And the dementors wouldn't have noticed he was missing for a whole year? And it never made the news?
Please...
I really enjoyed the movie but this is what made me mad about it. His story was very essential to the whole "mystery" of it and it was just cheapened for time constraints.
