This post is for people to pick holes in the books and point out mistakes that have been made.

Please add mistakes or refute them...

Harry said he had never seen Charlie before, but in Prisoner Of Azkaban he had looked at the newspaper clipping of the family in Egypt, and Charlie was in the picture. It stated, “six sons and one daughter ... all with flaming red hair.” (Chapter 5, “Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes”)

Well about the different stool descriptions ... maybe they change it every few years or even every year? Probably they just take some chair or stool ...

There's also the wrong wand order incident, which was corrected in later books.

In book four, during Priori Incantatem, Voldemort's victims came out in reverse order. BUT, James came out BEFORE Lily. That would mean that James died AFTER he killed Lily and it said all over in the books that he killed James first

When Harry said that, he probably meant that he had never seen Charlie face to face.

James and Lily go together. It wouldn't really matter which one of them came out first.

In a way, I agree with you, yet it was supposed to be in the order in which they died and then reverse.

perhaps jk meant he had never sen charlie personally. and when he saw the newspaper clipping he didnt know which of the two was charlie or bill. or perhaps charlie was not there with the weasleys in egypt, but busy with dragons in romania. in that case the mistake was in book3 because it said all seven weasleys.
