I believe Harry and Hermione will end up together. Ever since book one, i've felt this way, I can't explain why, something just tells me they'll end up together.

You should read "D'you Really Think They're suited?" essay on The Harry Potter Lexicon. I've been using that as my argument against H/H shippers since book 3, but after book 6, I don't feel I really have to convince mass people anymore since the majority knows Harry will get with Ginny.
plus JKR has confirmed that Harry and Hermione isn't happening _________________ They say home is where the heart is, so your real home's in your chest. --Captain Hammer
Well I don't believe anymore that Ron and Hermione will be together in the end. Ron will die, IMO. I have a feeling and I'm usually right.
I read that JK was sobbing as she wrote the final chapter and she had to drink half a bottle of champagne to calm down. Sounds like she killed somoene major. Yep, it's Ron.
okay this is my one and only time im gunna do this. but,
HAHAHHAHAHAHA ALL U H/HR SHIPPERS!!! HAHAHHAHA
k sry. got that outa my system.
Hahaha. Nice... personally I'd have to go with Hr/R, Hr/H is a biiiiit too... well, not believable for me, and just as froghopper412 did, I'm getting this out of my system.
HAHAHAHAHAHA YOU WERE ALL WRONG THE R/HR SHIPPERS WOOOOON!
Now I'm good. _________________

Before HBP I was thinking H/Hr was where it was going to go.
From a long-term and lasting relationship standpoint I think they fit together better. In the times of real difficulty that each faces over the course of the series, IMO, they offer each other far better emotional support than Ron does. And their relationship is one of mutual respect and admiration for each other's qualities. That sounds like a good foundation for a relationship to me.
In a real-world sense, someone like Hermione falling for someone like Ron seems a bit odd. Ron is not particularly smart, he is often unmotivated, his view of girls has proven to be pretty shallow on the whole--most liberally-minded intelligent women would be turned off by him I would think.
In terms of fitting the pieces of the story together though, I suppose Ron and Hermione makes sense, and as it was pretty much decided by HBP and now confirmed in DH, that's pretty much the end of that.

often times opposites do attract. i think rons laid back, care free, go with the flow style balances hermione's neat freak, grades obsessed, feminist style perfectly.
also while its true that most "liberally-minded intelligent women would be turned off by him", ron does get a lot more mature toward the end of book 6 and all throughout book 7
Spoiler:
[spoiler]plus the whole reason hermione kisses ron is because ron stands up for the house elves, something he had been refusing to do for years, and which he often made fun of hermione for doing.
what "liberally minded intelligent woman" wouldnt want to kiss him after that
plus the lack of sexual tension between hermione and harry proves that they dont have "that kind" of feelings for each other
while ron and hermione are always bickering and flirting. there is just LOADS of sexual tension between them. its sooo obvious _________________ Bloody Hell!!

I agree.
And just because Ron and Hermione have differences doesn't mean they can't like each other. _________________ Blame it on a simple twist of fate. ~ Bob Dylan "To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice. With pie." ~ Anya <3
