There was a story just after OTP was released about a new character in DH called Jack, also known as Luna's Brother, I don't know if this is true or not, but apparantly they've already cast the actor for the film to play him!

I searched the net for a pic and some more info and came up with this, hes a very smalltime actor known for shortroles in various drama groups in the South.



He resembles Luna in alot of ways! Shocked

I saw this aswell, I thought it was a bit odd at first but there was a few stories on the net about it.

btw that link at the bottom doesnt work.....

Can anyone else find this story?? I've looked everywhere!!

I don't see why they would have already cast for DH when they just started pre-production of HBP and still have actors to cast for that.

They haven't even finished casting HBP. I DOUBT they're already worrying about DH. Besides, by the time they go to film DH, that kid will be too old for the part. I have a feeling this rumour is false.

Luna Lovegood has no brother. Her father is in book 7...but they wouldn't be getting actors without knowing what happens in book 7.

Obviously it was just another rumour. And even if Luna had a brother, they would't be casting for Deathly Hallows so soon.

You'd be surprised, a lot of actors don't care what part they get if they love the story, especially in this case if they're fans of the books. Nevertheless I would prefer the epilogue to be played by the real charatcers but aged with makeup.
